MOVEMENT-FOCUSED

Redefining Leadership. Re-envisioning Systems. Reclaiming Power.

OUR STORY

At The Gaia Leadership Project, leadership isn’t about hierarchy or hollow titles — it’s about transformation rooted in justice, community, and courage.

Founded by Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin, The Gaia Leadership Project is the result of decades of work at the intersection of systemic power, personal healing, and revolutionary leadership.

From its earliest days, we’ve been building a new paradigm: one where leaders — especially those historically excluded from power — rise into influence without burning out, selling out, or going it alone.

We are not just an organization. We are a movement.

A home for visionaries who refuse to replicate the systems they were trained to survive.

A catalyst for those who are ready to lead from purpose — and make liberation possible in their lifetimes.

Since 2011, we’ve supported thousands of leaders around the world so they can lead with authenticity, impact, and joy. Through training, consulting, coaching, and strategic guidance, we don’t just develop leaders– we develop the revolutionary change-agents who are shaping what’s next.

Because the future won’t be led by those clinging to the past —
it’s being built right now by those bold enough to imagine a better future.

OUR EVOLUTION

Every Revolution Has Deep Roots

Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin – Founder & CEO

Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin, a blonde woman with pink skin and green eyes, wears chin-length wavy hair a pale pink wrap dress and gold hoops earrings. She smiles wisely at the camera.

Elizabeth is a globally recognized leadership expert, movement strategist, and the founder of The Gaia Leadership Project.

Before launching The Gaia Leadership Project, she spent more than 15 years navigating — and challenging — systems of power as a Wall Street securities litigator, mentor, and leadership coach.

Her work bridges the personal and the political, blending deep healing with movement-level strategy. She is also the creator and host of ResistanceLive, which has guided hundreds of thousands through moments of social and political upheaval, and the Founder of The Ripple Effect Institute, a strategic incubator and think tank for those who are committed to creating generational, legacy-level change for good.

Elizabeth’s work has been featured by CNN, Forbes, HuffPost, and more. Her clients range from Fortune 500 leaders to candidates for national office to frontline organizers.

Through The Gaia Leadership Project, she’s building the next generation of leaders: bold, justice-centered, and impossible to ignore.

OUR COMMITMENT

1. Liberation First

We believe leadership must dismantle oppression — not make it more palatable.

Our work is explicitly anti-racist, intersectional, and gender-liberatory. Liberation isn’t optional; it’s the foundation.

2. Healing as Power

We lead from wholeness. Our programs are trauma-informed and deeply restorative — because sustainable change starts with the tools to not just survive this work, but thrive and grow within it.

3. Integrity Without Compromise

We teach leadership rooted in honesty, accountability, and truth.

In a world that rewards posturing, we stand for the real.

4. Community Over Ego

Leadership is not a solo act. We build movements where power is shared, marginalized voices are amplified, and liberation is a collective practice.

5. Courageous Evolution

The world is changing. We evolve on purpose — questioning, transforming, and rising into leadership that matches the moment.
