This week is a favorite week in my family. My husband, who is a professionally trained chef, adores Thanksgiving more than any other holiday. He’s been planning the menu for over a month now, and together with my mom will be cooking for 18 people this holiday. Pretty awesome.

For over twenty years now, my family has also marked this holiday by going around the table over Thanksgiving dinner and saying out loud the one thing we’re most grateful for in the past year. I always have trouble saying just one.

And while I have many things personally to be grateful for this year (the birth of my son being just one), on a professional level, this one is easy to answer.

I am grateful for YOU.

I am grateful that you make space for me in your mind, heart and inbox each week.

I am grateful for the feedback you so kindly offer me when you are moved to do so.

I am grateful for your desire to always be changing, shifting, seeking out what you want in life.

I am grateful for all the ways in which your dissatisfaction moves you to change.

I am grateful for your willingness to tell me your stories.

I am grateful for your trust.

And more than anything, I am grateful for the experience I have daily of helping you to realize all that you most long for in life, and more.

It is so inspiring, so beautiful, so awesome to witness that I truly must be one of the luckiest people on earth to do what I do. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I wish you and all those you love a wonderful Thanksgiving.

With love,

Elizabeth
