After living in NYC for 17 years, and with her move to Southern California coming up in less than a week, Elizabeth reflects on the theme of two things at once in this week’s podcast episode.

This theme came up for her a couple of years ago at a workshop designed to create space for women who are divorced or in the process of divorcing to be in both gratitude and grief about the end of a marriage.

It can be tough to hold two conflicting emotions at once, but in this episode, Elizabeth explores how it is not only a sign of psychological maturity to be able to do so, but is 100% necessary in order for us to become the full expression of who we are, integrating the full range of our experiences and emotions.

Additionally, as women leaders, one of the questions we’ve been asking ourselves over the past 18 months in particular in response to what we are seeing in the world right now is – can we sit in a place of activism, of being change agents and in resistance, and also simultaneously hold a positive vision for the future that we can live into and strive towards?
