Job Overview
WE’RE HIRING A MARKETING ASSISTANT!
The Ripple Effect Institute is looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and data-savvy Marketing Assistant to support our organic content strategy—primarily on YouTube, email, and social media.
This is not a paid ads role.
We are a mission-driven organization focused on building strategic, sustainable social justice leadership. Our work supports individuals who feel called to make a difference—but need the tools, structure, and community to do it effectively.
Our marketing reflects that: grounded, strategic, values-driven, and deeply human.
We’re looking for someone who understands how YouTube works, is comfortable working with data and testing, and can help us continuously improve our content performance while maintaining the integrity of our voice and mission.
This role is part-time to start (5–15 hours/week) with the potential to go full-time, fully remote, with flexible hours—but you must be available on Mondays to support weekly video publishing and performance review. While this is a fractional role, the work itself is meaningful and requires care, attention to detail, and strong alignment with our mission and values.
You’ll report directly to our Operations Director and collaborate closely with our team. This role includes a 90-day trial period to ensure mutual fit.
Applications close: Tuesday, April 21 at 8:00 PM ET

Draft and repurpose content for social media based on YouTube videos
Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across platforms
Collaborate with the team to refine organic growth strategies over time

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with YouTube Studio and understanding YouTube analytics
Familiarity with tools like TubeBuddy (or similar A/B testing tools)

Strong writing skills for email marketing and social media
High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
