Nicole Lee is a diversity, equity and inclusion expert, leadership coach, and nationally recognized speaker and strategist.  Through her consulting company, the Lee Bayard Group LLC she works with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, schools and large businesses to improve their organizational climate for their workforce and all those that they serve. 
Nicole has a long history of with the human and civil rights movements and in the fight for equity and justice. She is trained as a lawyer and coach and served as the first female President of TransAfrica, the nation’s premier African American foreign affairs organization. Through that work she partnered with freedom fighters across the globe and documented their lives and work. She, along with civil and labor rights icon Bill Lucy, was the coordinator of the Life, Legacy and Values of Nelson Mandela, a six month national celebration of the life of Nelson Mandela and his US Memorial Service at the National Cathedral. She is a founder of the BMLP, a legal organization that provides legal and technical support to protesters fighting racism and oppression.
Nicole is a prolific speaker and commentator who has regularly appeared on CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and BBC. She has been recognized for her outstanding contributions in the private and public sectors through numerous awards, including Congressional Black Caucus, Running Starts “Women to Watch”, Black Women’s Roundtable TrailBlazer and Global Leadership Award and the National Newspapers Publishers Association’s Press Champion Award.
