Kris Goodfellow is COO at Voyager Search, a software company specializing in enterprise search solutions with a geospatial flare. She is responsible for managing the operations of the company, but also works closely with the product development, marketing, support and professional services teams. Since joining the company in 2013, Kris has been instrumental in helping Voyager to quadruple in size without taking outside investment.
Goodfellow holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, and began her career in journalism working at the Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, the Associated Press and National Geographic. She left journalism and transitioned into product management working at Esri and several consumer-facing websites in 2000.
After the election of 2016, Kris set aside her journalist’s objectivity and become a community organizer in her purple district. She was a founding member of the local indivisible group, has established a PAC to support local progressive candidates and is a California State Democratic Delegate. She is also working toward her MBA at UCLA with a focus on leadership and building sustainable, progressive, ethical businesses.
She lives in Redlands, California, with her husband and son.
