About Denise Styer
Advanced Gaia Leadership Coach
Denise M. Styer, PsyD, GLCC, is a consultant, leadership coach, manager, and psychotherapist who has been working on the empowerment of teens and adults for 25+ years. She obtained her doctorate of psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago with a degree in clinical psychology. She is a certified Gaia Leadership Coach under the mentorship of Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin. Denise provides private coaching, consulting, and individual and group therapeutic services. She has been published in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health, Journal of Cognitive Psychotherapy, Psychiatry Research, and The Prevention Researcher. She has co-authored chapters in Grossman & Walfish’s Translating Psychological Research Into Practice and Claes & Muehlenkamp’s Non-Suicidal Self-Injury in Eating Disorders: Advancements in Etiology and Treatment.
